Step 1: Harvest the Peppers

  • The tree is full of peppers, with a capybara sitting on a branch! Shake the treetop up and down with your finger, and the capybara will help drop the peppers. Just hold the basket below to catch them — super easy.
  • On the sorting table, you’ll find green peppercorn strings and some red chili peppers. Shake the peppercorn strings to drop loose peppercorns.
  • Wait for the sunlight to shine on them — this will dry the green peppercorns into black peppercorns, and they’re ready to use.

Step 2: Stir-fry the Sauce and Tofu

  • Place the meat on the cutting board and chop it into minced meat.
  • Finely chop the green onions, tofu, garlic, and red chilies. Grind the dried peppercorns into powder.
  • Put charcoal into the black hole-like stove, light a match to start the fire, and place a round-bottomed wok over the heat.
  • Pour oil into the wok, add the minced meat, and stir well with an iron spoon.
  • Add minced garlic and chopped chilies, stirring to mix.
  • Next, add the chopped green onions and pour in the starch water from the blue bowl.
  • Season with pepper and salt from the bottles.
  • From the top left dish on the table, pour soy sauce into the wok and continue stirring.
  • Add the tofu cubes into the wok and mix carefully.
  • Sprinkle in the ground peppercorn powder and stir again.
  • Finally, pour in the remaining two small dishes of oyster sauce and vinegar. Keep stirring until everything is well blended.
  • Use a spoon to transfer the finished dish into a serving bowl, garnish with chopped green onions, cilantro, and basil leaves — and you’ve cleared this stage!
