Video Guide & Text Walkthrough
Strategy Guide
Step 1: Prepare the Vegetables
- Chop the scallions, carrots, onions, ginger, chili peppers, pear, and garlic separately, then return them to their original plates.
- Cover the sink drain with a stopper and fill it with water. Place the napa cabbage inside to wash thoroughly.
- Move the cabbage to the cutting board and remove any damaged outer leaves.
- Transfer all the chopped vegetables into a blender, add Korean chili paste, close the lid, and switch it on to blend everything into a sauce.
Step 2: Cook the Rice and Marinate the Kimchi
- Fill the electric cooker with water, then use a wooden spoon to add rice inside.
- Cover with the lid and start cooking the rice.
- Pour the blended chili sauce into the glass container holding the cabbage to marinate it, creating kimchi.
Step 3: Make Kimchi Fried Rice
- Turn on the stove and heat some oil in the pan.
- Add minced garlic and other seasonings into the pan.
- Slice the pork belly on the cutting board, then add it to the pan.
- Pour in oyster sauce and salt, stir-frying everything until the pork changes color.
- Cut the marinated kimchi into segments on the cutting board, then set it back on its plate for later use.
Step 4: Plating
- Take the cooked rice from the rice cooker and place it in the center of a large bowl.
- Add the stir-fried pork belly and kimchi on top of the rice.
- Place a fried egg over the dish, then sprinkle with white sesame seeds and chopped scallions — and you’ve cleared the level!
