Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients π½οΈ
- Insert the stopper into the sink drain, turn on the faucet π°, and fill the sink with water.
- Wash the scallops π and chili peppers πΆοΈ in the sink.
- Place the baguette on the cutting board and slice it into three pieces with a knife πͺ.
- Return the sliced bread π₯ to its original plate.
- Take the cleaned scallops and chili peppers out of the sink and put them back on the plate.
- Cut the ginger into long thin strips π«, then place them back on the plate.
- Chop the parsley πΏ on the cutting board and return it to the plate.
- Cut the tomato π into chunks and place them back on the plate.
- Slice the green onion into sections and return them to the plate.
- Slice the artichoke π₯¬ into pieces, then mince it, and return it to the plate.
- Cut the lemon π in half and put it back on the plate.
- Place the fish π on the cutting board, cut it open, remove the bones, and then cut the fish meat into large chunks. Return both the meat and bones to the plate.
- Click on the garlic several times to peel it π§, then mince it with a knife and return it to the plate.
Step 2: Cook the Fish Soup π²
- Pour oil into the pot π’οΈ, turn on the stove π₯, and wait for the sizzling sound.
- Add the minced garlic π§, minced artichoke, and green onion sections to the pot.
- Pour water π¦ into the pot and listen for the bubbling sound.
- Add the tomato chunks π and stir with the spatula π½οΈ until the soup changes color.
- Place half a lemon π on the juicer, squeeze out the juice, and pour it into the pot.
- Use the grater over the pot and grate another lemon π to add lemon zest.
- Add the fish chunks and fish bones π to the pot.
- When the timer β° finishes, use the spatula to remove the fish head and bones, placing them back on the plate.
- Add the scallops π and cook until the timer β° ends.
- Season with salt π§, turn off the stove π₯, and ladle a spoonful of fish soup into the bowl π² below.
Step 3: Toast the Bread & Make the Sauce ππΆοΈ
- Place the three bread slices π₯ on the grill, turn it on π₯, and toast each until golden brown.
- Put the chili peppers πΆοΈ on the grill and roast until dry. When the timer β° ends, move them to the mortar on the right.
- Use the pestle to crush the peppers πΆοΈ in a vertical motion until powdered.
- Add minced garlic π§ and ginger strips π« to the mortar and keep pounding until crushed.
- Pour in oil π’οΈ and continue pounding until the mixture changes color.
- Transfer the sauce into a bowl π₯£, sprinkle in salt π§, crack in an egg π₯, and stir with the whisk until fully blended into a sauce π―.
Step 4: Plate the Dish π½οΈβ¨
- Use a spoon π₯ to ladle fish soup π² into the serving plate.
- Dip a slice of toasted bread π₯ into the sauce and place it in the plate.
- Sprinkle black pepper powder π§ and chopped parsley πΏ on top.
