Strategy Guide: Ratatouille

Step 1: Prep the Ingredients

  • Cut the leeks into sections and return them to the blue plate.
  • Finely chop the carrots, green onions, and yellow bell peppers, placing them back on their respective plates.
  • Place the garlic on the cutting board, tap it to peel, then crush into minced garlic and return to the plate.
  • Score a cross on each tomato with a knife, place them into the bowl above the cutting board, and add hot water.
  • Peel the blanched tomatoes, place them back into the bowl, and stir clockwise with a spoon until it becomes tomato paste.

Step 2: Cook the Stew

  • Pour oil into the pot and turn on the stove, waiting for the oil to smoke.
  • Add all the prepared chopped ingredients one by one, then add the tomato paste, bay leaves, salt, and white pepper.

Step 3: Complete the Ratatouille

  • Slice all vegetables — tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, zucchini, eggplant, cucumber, and potatoes — and arrange them in a bowl.
  • Pour oil into the bowl, cover with foil, and place into the oven. Turn on the oven.
  • After roasting, remove the Ratatouille, sprinkle with chopped parsley and shredded onions — and the level is complete!
